Liz Gottbrecht, VP Marketing at mavrckMavrck, the all-in-one influencer marketing platform trusted by Global 5000 brands, today announced that Liz Gottbrecht has been promoted to vice president of marketing.

“Mavrck has experienced significant growth since the company was founded in 2014, working with dozens of the world’s largest consumer brands to discover and active their most influential customers,” commented Lyle Stevens, co-founder and CEO of Mavrck. “Liz’s leadership as the director of marketing has been a critical to our success. Liz joined Mavrck in 2015, and has established the company as a thought leader in the influencer marketing industry. I’m thrilled to have Liz lead our expanding marketing team as Mavrck enters its next phase of growth.”

As Mavrck’s director of marketing, Gottbrecht was responsible for building Mavrck’s marketing strategy, and growing the company’s marketing team. Gottbrecht’s marketing programs have helped Mavrck bring on a number of Global 5000 clients, achieving a more than 400 percent increase in year-to-date revenue booked from marketing-driven leads.

“Today’s marketers face a landscape where consumers are inundated with hundreds of brand messages every day, and have largely become skeptical and numb to brand-created content,” said Gottbrecht. “In looking for ways to more effectively reach their target audiences, marketers must remember that consumers trust content that comes from their friends, family and peers. As Mavrck’s VP of marketing, I look forward to enabling even more global brands to discover and activate these micro-influencers in ways that increase their market share, revenue and competitive advantage.”

Prior to joining Mavrck, Gottbrecht was the Director of Marketing for Streetwise Media, a digital media and events company. There, she developed and introduced Streetwise Studio, the company’s full-service agency offering. With Streetwise Studio in place, Gottbrecht executed more than 35 original content campaigns and 100 syndicated campaigns for brand partners, resulting in 375 percent year-over-year digital revenue growth. Gottbrecht also managed marketing efforts for BostInno’s State of Innovation pillar event, and led the launches of Streetwise Media properties AustinInno and ChicagoInno, news sites covering tech, startups and innovation.
