Astral Health & Beauty’s Julie Campbell Named 2018 Retail Innovator by Retail TouchPoints

Campbell uses the Mavrck influencer marketing platform to power unified influencer marketing strategies across three brands: COSMEDIX, PUR Cosmetics and Aloette.

New York, May 09, 2018Today, we’re pleased to announce that Retail TouchPoints (RTP) has honored Astral Health & Beauty’s Julie Campbell as a 2018 Retail Innovator Award winner. In its fifth year, the Retail Innovator Awards honor business leaders who are embracing positive disruption in retail.

As VP Marketing, Campbell leads the Influencer Marketing effort at Astral Health & Beauty. With zero spend on media or influencer activations, Astral Health & Beauty used Mavrck to implement an always-on strategy across COSMEDIX, PUR Cosmetics and Aloette that identified relevant micro-influencers, advocates, referrers, and loyalists, and activated them on-demand across three use cases:

  1. Collaborate with micro-influencers to create original content on Instagram for key product lines and repurpose across digital touch points;
  2. Activate advocates and referrers to amplify brand content on Facebook to drive e-commerce purchases; and
  3. Survey influencers, advocates, referrers, and loyalists for brand and product feedback to inform future strategy and planning.

The programs drove significant results: A growing community of 3k+ members; Every 100 micro-influencer posts on Instagram are earning more than 3.4M impressions and 34.5k engagements on average; and 527% ROI from e-Commerce sales driven.

Retail TouchPoints received more than 100 nominations for this year’s Retail Innovator Awards. All 27 winners were announced at the Retail Innovation Conference, April 30-May 2, 2018, at the Convene event space in New York City.
