2014

Mavrck formally launches out of TechStars Demo Day in November 2014, enabling brands to white-label influencer marketing technology for the purpose of discovering and activating influencers within their existing customer base.

2015

Mavrck is first to introduce ‘micro-influencer marketing’ to the market, hitting milestones of 1M activations across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest and 300% YoY growth. We raise a $5.8M Series A in funding in November 2015.

2016

Mavrck discovers that influencer content outperforms brand-generated content. We become the leading influencer marketing platform for micro-influencer marketing, with notable customers like P&G and Godiva. We win our first “Retail Innovators Award” with Tom’s of Maine and are named ‘Most Innovative Technology of the Year in Sales & Marketing’ by MassTLC.

2017

Mavrck introduces new ‘All-In-One’ positioning and influencer marketing platform capabilities, which help to propel the business to the first $1M quarter.

2018

Mavrck opened a second office in Denver, Colorado. We expanded 200%+ in headcount and revenue. We won a Shorty Award, Retail Innovators Award, Digiday’s Best Influencer Marketing Platform, and named a ‘Strong Performer’ in Forrester’s Influencer Marketing New Wave report. We raise an additional $5.8M to accelerate growth.

2019

For the first time, Mavrck is honored on Inc’s annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, as well as among the top 10 hottest companies and startups leading innovation in the Boston area. We also hosted our first annual Brand Summit, Creative Unbound, in Boston.

2020

Mavrck was named a Leader in The Forrester New Wave™: Influencer Marketing Platforms, Q2 2020 Report, and #1 Influencer Marketing Platform for Enterprise Companies by G2, the leading software review site.

2021

Mavrck closed a monumental $120 Million investment from Summit Partners to redefine influencer marketing into social proof at scale, as well as remained the #1 Influencer Marketing Platform for Enterprise Companies by G2 for 9 straight quarters. Mavrck added tremendous talent to lead product engineering and finance and launched Influence University, an influencer marketing curriculum and certification program for aspiring influencer marketing experts and practitioners.

2022

Mavrck appointed marketing veteran, Tony Weisman, to the board of directors and was named to Built In’s Best Places To Work In Boston List for the third time. Mavrck also united with Later, the leading social media marketing and commerce platform for small business owners and creators.
