Here are the 64 Brands Competing in Mavrck’s CPG Brand Madness Tournament

Round 1 is LIVE! The 3rd Annual CPG Brand Madness Tournament is very exciting given the recent changes among multiple social platforms in the past year. The social reach of each brand’s influencers differs at the speed of ever changing algorithms and product launches. Given the data already gathered using Mavrck’s Fan Grader, it is apparent that some of these CPG brands do not only have a stronger social presence, but even stronger influencers. These influencers are what ultimately inspire some of our early picks for tournament winners.

There are strong competitors within each division. Statistically speaking, some of these competitors are neck and neck. However, a brand’s fans are only as strong as their engagements, which typically becomes the tie breaker. This becomes the case with Mr. Clean winning the Home Division, Dove cleaning out the Beauty Division, and Wellness coming out as the underdog of the Pet division. Otherwise, there are clear leaders with strong social presences and a team of fans who are just as mighty. Gillette, Pop-tarts Lunchables, Kraft Mac & Cheese, and Oreo are all strong picks to power through the competition.

The most exciting parts of any tournament are the upsets, and it’s up to the influencers to determine who will become the underdog. Luckily, points aren’t earned based on the number of fans a brand has, but how engaged and influential those fans actually are!
